I started in the lakes of Kentucky where I grew up.  A move to Florida brought me into a whole new realm of fishing.  After receiving a bachelor degree in Biology, I decided I liked catching fish more than studying them! I started as a mate on a charter boat in St. Augustine, Florida and worked my way up the ladder to captain.

I have been lucky to work with some very experienced captains and mates. I am constantly learning new techniques and evolving my own fishing style.  I have been fortunate to travel to places like Panama, Costa Rica, Mexico and the Bahamas.

I have been witness to some incredible sights and events during my 21-year career on the water and would like to share my knowledge and experiences with you, as well as create memories you will cherish forever.
